This class is a calming Yin yoga class with a focus on the hips, also great before a sports practice. The holding of yoga postures related to the hips for a long duration helps create space for opening deeper tissues in the body, apart from just the muscles and tendons. These tissues, when stretched, reduce tightness and release the tension around the hips.
A beautifully class focusing on finding ease and deep breaths through opening the hips and releasing the lower spine with passive positions are held for a 3-5 min.
