Tonje is co-founder and one of the owners of Leela Gamlebyen. Her background is in business and marketing, but after no less than seven years of business studies and a short career within banking, she decided to follow her passion and create her own business instead.
This yogini has several certifications (e-RYT 200 + 500), and teaches vinyasa, yin, Yogastrology®, yoga nidra and meditation as well as moon ceremonies and other workshops. She has a strong passion for astrology, witchcraft, and spiritual and emotional energy healing.
Tonje also teaches a yearlong online program: An Inner Quest to Your Soul, as well as Leela’s own 100h Advanced Yoga Teacher Training: MYSTICA.
My morning routine: I really enjoy slow mornings, and I try to make my schedule so that I will always have plenty of time before going anywhere. After my two kids were born I value this even more, and I love our morning snuggles in bed. For breakfast, I'll most days have warm oats with banana and cinnamon, fresh coffee, and a large glass of water.
The world needs more: Passionate and playful people. Dare to get out of your comfort zone – that’s where the magic happens!
I believe in: Life as a teacher, trusting my process, and always following my heart and intuition in everything I do.
Love is: Forgiving, unconditional and strong.
I can't get enough of: Yoga, teaching, all kind of juices and smoothies, yoga mats in beautiful colors, pretty dresses, bookstores, music, singing, art, design, my fantastic and beautiful friends + family, hot coffee, traveling, wandering, being barefoot and grounded, swimming, kitesurfing, early summer mornings, the feeling of sand between my toes, sun in my face, and the gentle touch of salty water when you swim ♥
Yoga is: Peace and happiness and my sanctuary when I feel stressed.
